Well, a new year has begun! A big chance for changes, new year resolutions, etc...No. Stop. I won't tell you the same old story every one else does. I don't think that new year resolutions make sense. I mean, yes, for some people they might really be the start of a life-changing thing. But that's not my thing. I'm not the kind of person that sticks to them. I always say what I will do, all year long, and in the end, I haven't done anything. I'll say I will wash my hair in the evening and then I am too lazy. I'll say I'll clean the shower in my holidays, but then I won't. Those are such little things, and that's the thing I don't like about me most.
But even if I don't have new year resolutions to tell you about, I still have something to say about the new year. This year, there will be so many things I look forward to! And I will tell you about everything. ;-)
- ROCK IM PARK 2016 - Nuremberg
Well this is probably the thing I'm most excited about! For those who aren't from Germany, Austria or Switzerland: Rock Im Park is a music festival in Nuremberg, Germany which takes place in June.
This year, a whole bunch of bands I love will be there: Billy Talent, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bring Me The Horizon, Of Mice & Men, Panic! At The Disco, and many more. I've seen some of the bands before, but I'm still happy to see them again!

- Photography Workshop
This Saturday, I will take part in an interesting photography workshop, which has been arranged by members of the photography club my father is part of. It will be about the basics. I am interested in photography since a few years, but I think it's still a good chance for me to learn new things and to present some better pictures here on my blog.
- Seeing some of my favourite bands live
Right now, I only have tickets for the Mayday Parade concert in Zurich, but I'm planning to go on the Neck Deep Concert in Zurich as well! For those who don't know these bands: Mayday Parade is Pop-Punk, Neck Deep is melodic Punk. But I'm sure those aren't the only concerts I will go to this year - I will take every chance I get to see my favourite bands live!
- Improving myself and becoming a better person
This is the thing I look forward to the most. I'm constantly working on becoming a better person: for my family, for my boyfriend, for my friends, for my colleagues at work. But I'm still failing. I'm really nervous when it comes to going out of the house - I'm sick everytime I have to leave it, and I feel like I have to puke. And I'm ashamed of saying that I don't feel well. Those are probably my biggest personal insecurities and I want to learn to overcome them. I still have a lot of work to do, but I'm feeling like I've already made a big step in this process because I'm beginning to calm myself down whenever I feel like I'm getting nervous. I'm just hoping I won't fail this time.
- Summer evenings with friends
Well, this is a really special thing. I don't see my best friends often anymore, because when we were 14, our paths have seperated, and we all went to different schools, which means we all found other friends. But I'm still so happy when I get to see them. I met them when we were 4 years old, but I didn't have much to do with the until we were 10. This was the time when they became my best friends. But that isn't what I wanted to talk about. The point is: If you have some good friends - try to spend as much time as you can with them. I'm angry about myself that I didn't spend more time with them right away when our paths seperated, but I still love them.
So those are a few things I look forward to this year. But I'm still finding new things I want to do in 2016 and you can be sure that those are not all the things I will be excited about this year! ;-)
